Social Commitment
(Giving Back)

MCB Joint Ventures, LLC is committed to giving back to the community.

As part of our LEED compliance, we recycle cardboard, lighting fixtures and other materials from our jobs rather than using landfills to dispose of these items.

Each dollar earned from recycling is matched dollar for dollar by MCB Joint Ventures, LLC and given to a charitable organization in the community in which we do business.

In 2010 and 2011, MCB Joint Ventures, LLC selected Casa Vincentia of Oakland, California as its Charity. Casa Vincentia is a residential home in Oakland for pregnant women between the ages of 18 to 25. The mission of Casa Vincentia is to provide a supportive, healthy and safe environment for pregnant women who are homeless and/or in crisis. It is a diverse environment welcoming women from all cultures and creeds.

MCB Joint Ventures, LLC has contributed approximately $3,000 to Casa Vincentia.

Testimonial from Casa Vincentia

"We are especially pleased that you have chosen Casa Vincentia as a recipient of the money received from recycling the cardboard used in your work. It is generous of you to match those funds to donate to our organization. We want you to know that your donation helps us to keep our doors open for the women who come to us seeking shelter for themselves and their unborn babies. Thank you for blessing Casa Vincentia."
